Effective Date: April 2026 Last Updated: April 2026

Welcome to the Stretch Inc. website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

Stretch Inc. is a trading name operated by Dan Meyer. Our registered office is located in Cape Town, South Africa.

1. About This Website

This website provides information about the stretch tent rental and event services offered by Stretch Inc. Content on this site — including text, images, and design — is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a contractual offer unless confirmed in writing by Stretch Inc.

2. Quotations & Bookings

All quotations provided by Stretch Inc. are valid for 14 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.

A booking is only confirmed once a signed quotation and the required deposit have been received by Stretch Inc. Verbal agreements, email enquiries, or website form submissions do not constitute a confirmed booking.

3. Deposits & Payment

A deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be specified on your quotation, typically 50% of the total quoted amount.

The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the event date, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.

All payments must be made via EFT or bank transfer to the account details provided on the invoice. Stretch Inc. reserves the right to withhold services if payment has not been received in full prior to the event.

4. Cancellations

Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email is acceptable).

The following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 30 days before the event: Full deposit refund, less an administration fee of 10% of the deposit amount.
  • 15–30 days before the event: 50% of the deposit is refundable.
  • Less than 15 days before the event: No refund of the deposit.

If Stretch Inc. is unable to fulfil a booking due to circumstances within our control, we will offer a full refund or reschedule the event at no additional cost.

5. Site Visits & Access

Stretch Inc. conducts site visits as a standard part of the quoting and planning process. The client or venue must provide reasonable access to the event site for assessment, setup, and strike.

Setup and strike times will be confirmed in advance. If site access is delayed or restricted beyond the agreed schedule, additional charges may apply.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the event site is suitable for tent installation, including adequate ground conditions, clearance from overhead obstructions, and access for delivery vehicles.

6. Weather & Force Majeure

Stretch tents are engineered to perform in a range of weather conditions. However, Stretch Inc. cannot guarantee protection against extreme or unprecedented weather events.

In the event that an installation is deemed unsafe due to weather conditions (including but not limited to high winds, severe storms, or flooding), Stretch Inc. reserves the right to delay setup, modify the installation plan, or, in extreme cases, cancel the installation for safety reasons. In such cases, Stretch Inc. will work with the client to find the best possible alternative.

Stretch Inc. shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from weather-related disruptions or other events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, civil unrest, or government-imposed restrictions.

7. Care of Equipment

All tents, fixtures, and equipment supplied by Stretch Inc. remain the property of Stretch Inc. at all times.

The client is responsible for the care of all equipment from the time of setup to the time of strike. Any damage, loss, or theft of equipment during the hire period will be charged to the client at replacement cost.

The client must not alter, modify, move, or interfere with any installed equipment without prior written consent from Stretch Inc. This includes attaching items to the tent fabric, poles, or rigging.

8. Liability

Stretch Inc. takes reasonable care in the setup and management of all installations. However, Stretch Inc. shall not be held liable for:

  • Damage to lawns, gardens, paving, or other ground surfaces caused during setup or strike.
  • Injuries to guests or third parties arising from misuse of the equipment or failure to follow safety guidance provided by Stretch Inc.
  • Loss of revenue, opportunity, or consequential damages of any kind arising from the hire or use of our services.

The client is encouraged to arrange appropriate event insurance for their occasion.
