WE GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY
As Stretch Inc grows, so does our responsibility to help others. Between our weekly soup kitchen, our various animal shelter donations and sponsorship, and most recently our partnership with The Smile Cycle and Operation Smile, we are always driven to do some good in the world.
Our weekly soup kitchen ran from 2015 to 2018, and with the help of Knead Bakery, Spar, and Cape Cup we were able to hand out over 15 000 meals to the homeless and less privileged in Cape Town city center.

Animal Shelters
We provide fundraising sponsorship for Fallen Angels, PitPals, and various other animal rescue groups in Cape Town. We also donate our old tents to these shelters, to keep our furry friends dry in winter and cool in summer.
Operation Smile
In July 2022 our CEO and Founder, Dan Meyer, undertook a huge challenge to raise money and awareness for children born with cleft palates – by riding his bicycle unsupported for over 3500km across Europe. He raised over R130 000 for Operation Smile to cover the cost of more than 20 childrens surgeries.

Our soup kitchen takes place every Wednesday at 5.30pm.
We set up on McKenzie Street, Zonnebloem.
With help from our sponsors and volunteers, we’re creating a positive change in our community.
